Burton Agnes Hall is a magnificent example of late Elizabethan architecture, still occupied by descendants of the original family. This home is filled with treasures accumulated over four centuries, The gardens offer something for everyone, from the ardent enthusiast who will enjoy identifying over 3,000 different plants, to the young at heart who can seek to solve the 'Riddle of the Maze', get lost in the jungle, or play giant board games in the coloured gardens.
This is a working pottery set in 12 acres of lawned gardens and park land. The visitor is free to walk around the pottery to see how things are made.

Then learn the history of the confectioner's art in their in-house museum display. Of course you get the opportunity to purchase samples too!

Situated near the Holderness coast, Burton constable is the ancestral home of the Constable family which was built in 1570 by Sir John. In the 18th century William Constable carried out major remodelling and the park was lanscaped by the famous Capability Brown. *Superb 18th and 19th century interiors, including a Gallery, Great Hall, Dining and Drawing Rooms, Bedrooms, Chapel, Chinese Room and a Lamp Room.
